Happy Birthday to me.....

1st and 2nd month pictures.
I am growing... monthy by month !!!!!

Naan sandhi pannaren....

Once I kept two fingers on my nose.....my mom raised a big alarm and asked my thata to take a pic asap. But he was too late..i removed one finger before that. So, this is half-sandhi pose.

My first favorite toy

This is rattle given by my friend Atul ( He goes to School in the weekdays.. I meet him only in weekend). Snap taken on 16th day. I was casually moving my hands- my finger got struck inside and when I moved my hands, it fell at a distance. Thats how I first played with a toy....:-))))

My weight-lifting pose!

Punyajananam

11th day was my naming ceremony. I am named Ramasubramanian, Kavin and Sriram. In this snap, you can see Akshaya akka telling my name into my ears. The second photo is thotil photo, women around me singing so that I will develop interest in music. The third photo is Uma athai putting kaapu for me. Look..I dont even cover half of her lap. I was so small when I was born. Gurus parents, sister and Priyas mom visited me that day. Very sweet of them. I think my mom was too tired....she missed to take a picture with them.

24th Day

It is customary in my dads side to tie yellow thread around hips on 24th day. Prabha perimma and Siva athai came from Bangalore for that, fooling Gayathri akka saying that they were going to inject Siva athai. My moms friend Gayathri and her cute kid Divya were also there.

With Sneha akka

This is a funny incident. My mom gave me to Haripriya aunty telling that I might piss. I didnt, but when she gave me to Sneha I immediately pissed and wet Snehas dress. She started crying seeing ppl around her laughing. I am sure she is going to remember this incident forever and wait to take vengence on me.
You can see Haripriya perimma and Bru mami in this snap.

With Vatsala Paati

This snap is taken on the day when Vatsala perimma tied aranakayaryu and black bangles for me. She also taught my paati how to apply vasambu (naatu marundhu).

Big Paati and Thata

I am one of a few in this world who have two big paatis and one big thatha when I was born.
I am very proud of them. My mom keeps saying they are the cutest couple in this whole world.

What was My mom in her previous incarnation

See this picture. What comes to your mind at the first look ?

Birbal.... Right ? mm..m... you ask why ? Oh.... ok, I will tell the story that my pa will tell after my 5 years..... ( my pa is a carrier, you know.... he carries the good old stories all the way his life. i wonder, if he any time created anything of his own...)

Emperor Akbar, the Great, had a minister Birbal. One day he stepped into a pond with chill water. Akbar could not bear the chillness. Suddenly, he thought how it would be to spend a whole night standing in the pond. He announced a price for anyone who would do it. A poor guy, who was in dire need of money, did it.

Just before giving the prize amount, Akbar asked the poor guy, "how could you bear the cold throughout the night ?". The poor guy replied, "I was looking at the distant street light meditatingly and could withstand the cold". On hearing this, Akbar denied the prize. His claim was that the poor guy got the required "warmth" from the distant street light. No one said anything. After all it was "Maha" Akbar. Birbal asked the poor guy to stay with him for a day.

Next day morning, Akbar was waiting for Birbal in the palace. Birbal did not arrive. Akbar sent a man to Birbal house to know what is happening. The man came back with the message the Birbal would come after cooking. Akbar waited. Hours passed. He sent a few times his men. All gave the same answer. Akbar could not understand how cooking can take this much time. He decided to go by himself and went.

In Birbal's house, he saw the poor guy. Ignoring him, he looked for Birbal. Birbal had tied a pot hanging from a pole at 4 feet high. On the ground, he had a few coal pieces with fire. Every few minutes, Birbal was blowing the fire and mixing the pot contents. Akbar did not understand what was going on. He asked. Birbal explained that the pot contained rice and he was boiling the rice with the fire below.

Akbar broke into a big laughter. He said to Birbal, "Birbal, you have become mad. How can this little fire from coal boil the rice at 4 feet high ? This will never finish. Come to the palace, we can have food there". Now Birbal replied. "My Lord, if it was possible to get enough warmth from a distant street light to withstand shieveringly cold water throughout a night, it would be very much possible to boil the rice this way".

Now Akbar got the point. He apologized to the poor guy and gave him the announced prize.

I am sure that my mom was Akbar The Great in her previous incarnation. Have you got the point ?

Nice World....
